Andrzej Wiszniewski, profesor i działacz opozycyjny. W 1980 roku wstąpił do "NSZZ Solidarności", organizator strajku na Politechnice Wrocławskiej w trakcie stanu wojennego. Internowany. W latach 1983 - 1989 członek Rady Społecznej przy Henryku Gulbinowiczu, współpracownik Solidarności Walczącej.; W latach 1990-1996 był Rektorem Politechniki Wrocławskiej. Zdjęcie wykonano prawdopodobnie w 1997 roku po objęciu przez Wiszniewskiego funkcji ministra nauki w rządzie AWS-u.
