Portret współczesny Jana Glazy. Jan Glaza urodził się w 1923 r. w Osiecznej. Ukończył w Osiecznej szkołę podstawową. Pomagał w gospodarstwie rodzicom. Został przymusowo wcielony do Wehrmachtu w 1942 r. razem z innymi mieszkańcami Pomorza. W czasie służby wojskowej przebywał w Niemczech, Francji i Norwegii. W listopadzie 1945 r. powrócił do domu. Potem poślubił Marię, z którą miał pięcioro dzieci. Pracował w nadleśnictwie Osieczna, a następnie jako majster budowalny na kolei w Smętowie. Nadal mieszka w Osiecznej.
