Portret współczesny Jana Kukuły. Prof. Jan Kukuła urodził się w 1950 r. we Wrocławiu. Ukończył liceum plastyczne przy ul. Piotra Skargi, a w 1977 r. uzyskał dyplom w zakresie wzornictwa przemysłowego na Państwowej Wyższej Szkole Sztuk Plastycznych. Od 1982 r. do dziś związany z Akademią Sztuk Pięknych im. Eugeniusza Gepperta. W latach 2008-2012 pełnił funkcję prodziekana i dziekana Wydziału Architektury Wnętrz i Wzornictwa. Przed kilkoma laty uzyskał tytuł doktora honoris causa Uniwersytetu Edukacyjnego w Ułan Bator.
