Małgorzata Hebel z domu Witt urodziła się 5 stycznia 1937 roku w miejscowości Słuszewo w rodzinie niemieckiej. Ojciec był wojskowym, matka pracowała na pobliskim majątku, mieli pięcioro dzieci. Ojciec dostał się do niewoli i po powrocie chciał z rodziną wyemigrować, jednak zostali w Słuszewie, rodzice po wojnie pracowali w świniarni. Pani Małgorzata od 1952 roku pracowała w PGR, w 1958 roku wyszła za mąż.
