Polski malarz, rysownik, scenograf. Urodził się w Krakowie, gdzie w 1938 roku rozpoczął studia na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych, w czasie wojny kontynuował naukę w Staatliche Kunstgewerbeschule Krakau. Ukończył również aktorstwo w Studiu Dramatycznym przy Starym Teatrze w latach 1945-46. Aktorsko związany z teatrem Kantora, a następnie Cricot 2. Zawodowo związany był również z Teatrem Groteska, w którym pełnił funkcje scenografa, a następnie kierownikiem artystycznym. Artystycznie związany z Grupą Krakowską II.
W 1979 roku otrzymał Nagrodę Miasta Krakowa.
