Urodzony w 1883 roku w Kępnie, niemiecki architekt. Z Maxem Bergiem współpracował przy budowie Hali Stulecia. Specjalizował się głównie w budynkach użyteczności publicznej i obiektach sportowo-rekreacyjnych. Do dziś podziwiać możemy na przykład Bramę Maratońską na Stadionie Olimpijskim, Stację transformatorową przy ul. Pułaskiego we Wrocławiu czy Bramę główną terenów wystawowych, obecnie główne wejście do wrocławskiego Zoo.Zmarł w 1960 roku w Hanowerze.
