Urodziny 26 kwietnia 1959 r. w Żorach W 1979 r. wydał debiutancki album "Don't you Cry". W 1986 podpisał kontrakt z amerykańską wytwórnią RCA, dwa lata później rozpoczął długoletnią współpracę z Januszem Yaniną Iwańskim.
W 2003 r. skomponował i nagrał muzykę do "Tryptyku Rzymskiego" Jana Pawła II - z materiałem wystąpił przed papieżem. Jego bogatą dyskografię zamyka album "Muzyka i słowa" z 2019 r.
