Reżyser, aktor, dyrektor teatralny. W latach 1947-1948 aktor Teatru im. Bogusławskiego w Kaliszu; w latach 1948-1949 w Teatrze Miejskim w Częstochowie. Absolwent socjologii na Uniwersytecie Poznańskim. Podczas studiów reżyserskich należał do zespołu warszawskiego Teatru Polskiego. Jego debiut reżyserski nastąpił w 1955 r. W latach 1967-1973 dyrektor Teatru Rozmaitości we Wrocławiu.
